A couple of weeks ago the team reached division 1 for the first time in their history . Completely unexpected which means that we have to change our planning.
Cymru was one of the main goals this season with 3 riders in topform, but as it looks now we probably will miss it. Which is sad, because it's one of our favourite Tours. As there are no real interesting Tours for us in division 1 (except for the Nederlandse) we will try and see how the team can compete in normal races at the highest level. A 4th place in the classic Norwich-London gave the team enough confidence that we also can get some nice results in division 1.
Looking forward to a new part of the teams history, although a relegation back to division 2 is still a serious option. The squad is pretty young, so where ever we might race we're sure that we have a lot of prosperous seasons ahead of us.

Happened to me first time I moved up to top division as well, was there when Cymriu was on and dropped back just before Essex... Frustrating at that time but made up or it since, don't miss too many anymore
Unfortunately my ranknig is too low now to be able to sign up for Essex. Losing too many points from Cymru last season.
Bit cynical that we have to miss both Tours. Hopefully we will have enough point to sign up for de Nederlandse Tour. :)
Essex is very similar to Cymriu...
